For the „COMPOST – The Open Bin“ exhibition, Claudia Vogel created a work called “RETASTE”, a performative installation focused on compost as an opportunity to re-create and to offer new possibilities and experiences with the material which is actually waste. Vogel works with distillation as the process and her way to reimagine natural materials and generate a performative practice to interact with them.
The work includes an installation showing compost-based prints. Claudia Vogel will then accompany the work with a performative workshop to share her process and experience compost in a different way together with the audience.
Claudia Vogel (1971, lives and works in Luzern) works with olfactory experiences and uses a wide variety of media and different formats . As a practitioner, she engages a lot in connection between feelings, body, sensations and relationship with nature. Central to her is the complex question of identity and, connected to this, the individuality of the human being.

Für die Ausstellung „COMPOST – The Open Bin“ kreiert Claudia Vogel eine Arbeit namens „RETASTE“, eine performative Installation, die Kompostieren dazu nutzt, neue Möglichkeiten und Erfahrungen mit dem Material, das eigentlich Abfall ist, zu schaffen und anzubieten. Vogel arbeitet mit der Destillation als Prozess und ihrer Art, sich natürliche Materialien neu zu imaginieren und eine performative Praxis zur Interaktion mit ihnen zu entwickeln.
Die Arbeit umfasst eine Installation, die Drucke auf Kompostbasis zeigt. Claudia Vogel wird die Arbeit mit einem performativen Workshop begleiten, um ihren Prozess mit dem Publikum zu teilen und Kompost auf eine andere Art zu erleben.
Claudia Vogel (1971, lebt und arbeitet in Luzern) arbeitet mit Geruchserlebnissen und verwendet eine Vielzahl von Medien und unterschiedlichen Formaten. Als Praktikerin beschäftigt sie sich viel mit der Verbindung von Gefühlen, Körper, Empfindungen und der Beziehung zur Natur. Zentral ist für sie die komplexe Frage nach der Identität und, damit verbunden, der Individualität des Menschen.
