Marinka Limat and André Vladimir Heiz combine their experiences and capacities and offer lively insights into the book «Funken. Zu Fuss zur Kunst».
The dialogue between the two, a rhythmic performance, leads the listener to experience the moments of extraordinary encounters described in the book. The two authors reinvent their program for each presentation: They adapt their performance to the different contexts – location and audience – and select suitable texts in German and French from the book. Participants are invited to relate to the authors and their work. The exchange becomes direct, the moment turns into an ephemeral score. In the contrast of the bilingualism, the reading gets its own sound. The two voices of the authors complement each other in a special way: while the anecdotes by Marinka Limat provide insights into her experiences on the pilgrimage, the footnotes by André Vladimir Heiz bring new references into play. In between lies the triggering moment. New perspectives open up. Also for the audience. The listeners are taken on a journey, the destination of which is not clear at the beginning and emerges from the shared moments, can develop spontaneously and directly. The event becomes a performance.
Marinka Limat is a Swiss performance artist. Her works address human interaction, primarily using the means of the performing arts. Since her Master in Art Education (2011) at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB), she has lived and worked as an independant artist in Fribourg. She is known for her art walks, covering long distances and making the process the essence of her work.
André Vladimir Heiz received his doctorate in literature from the University of Zurich, he then studied semiotics at the EHESS in Paris. As an author, researcher, artist and lecturer, he sets standards in words and pictures internationally. His literary work has been awarded several times. To remain a beginner, this is part of the creed.

Marinka Limat und André Vladimir Heiz bündeln ihre Erfahrungen und Fähigkeiten und geben lebendige Einblicke in das Buch „Funken. Zu Fuss zur Kunst“.
Der Dialog zwischen den beiden, eine rhythmische Performance, lässt den Zuhörer die im Buch beschriebenen Momente außergewöhnlicher Begegnungen erleben. Die beiden Autor*innen erfinden ihr Programm für jeden Vortrag neu: Sie passen ihre Performance den unterschiedlichen Kontexten – Ort und Publikum – an und wählen passende Texte aus dem Buch in deutscher und französischer Sprache aus. Die Teilnehmer*innen sind eingeladen, sich auf die Autoren und ihr Werk einzulassen. Der Austausch wird direkt, der Moment wird zu einer flüchtigen Partitur. Im Kontrast der Zweisprachigkeit bekommt die Lesung ihren eigenen Klang. Die beiden Stimmen der Autor*innen ergänzen sich in besonderer Weise: Während die Anekdoten von Marina Limat Einblicke in ihre Erfahrungen auf der Pilgerreise geben, bringen die Fußnoten von André Vladimir Heiz neue Bezüge ins Spiel. Dazwischen liegt das auslösende Moment. Neue Perspektiven tun sich auf. Auch für die Zuhörer. Die Zuhörer werden auf eine Reise mitgenommen, deren Ziel zu Beginn nicht klar ist und sich aus den gemeinsamen Momenten heraus spontan und unmittelbar entwickeln kann. Die Veranstaltung wird zu einer Performance.
Marinka Limat ist eine Schweizer Performancekünstlerin. Ihre Arbeiten thematisieren menschliche Interaktion, vor allem mit den Mitteln der darstellenden Kunst. Seit ihrem Master in Kunstvermittlung (2011) an der Hochschule der Künste Bern (HKB) lebt und arbeitet sie als freischaffende Künstlerin in Fribourg. Sie ist bekannt für ihre Kunst-Pilger-Reisen, bei denen sie lange Strecken zurücklegt und den Prozess zur Essenz ihrer Arbeit macht.
André Vladimir Heiz promovierte in Literaturwissenschaft an der Universität Zürich und studierte anschliessend Semiotik an der EHESS in Paris. Als Autor, Forscher, Künstler und Dozent setzt er international Maßstäbe in Wort und Bild. Sein literarisches Werk ist mehrfach ausgezeichnet worden. Ein Anfänger zu bleiben, das gehört zum Credo.
