Curated by: Giovanna Bragaglia, Miwa Negoro and Camille Regli

Following the first edition in November 2019 with the insightful presence of Kulturfolger, la_cápsula and Kein Museum, we are pleased to welcome Last Tango and Art Empowers to discuss the challenges of running an independent art space in Zurich.

Monday, 20 January 2020, 18.30 – 20.30
Talk starts at 19.00 in English
In the exhibition of Hilla Toony Navok, https://oncurating-space.org/rolling-rooms/

Founded in 2016 and operated by Linda Jensen and Arianna Gellini, Last Tango is an exhibition space located in Kreis 5 in Zurich. Its curatorial agenda is mostly based on two-person exhibitions, coupling contemporary artists working with kindred subjects or contrasting positions.www.lasttango.info

With Art Empowers, Fabienne Ott realizes exhibition formats that use participation as an artistic strategy, blinding the roles of curators and art mediators/educators in the curatorial process from the beginning. These art formats are activated by children and young people to help them experience self-empowerment and see themselves as active members of society. artempowers.ch

I might be wrong is a discursive and explorative series of events that invites people from different disciplines to shed light on moments of impulse that one might experience or come across in life. It is not only about acknowledging a mistake but rather understand it as a transformation, a ‘passage’ or an experimentation that is essential to one’s growth. ‚I might be wrong‘ sets a safe and casual environment by seeking nonhierarchical ways of sharing and producing knowledge.

An evening of music, drinks and snacks curated and hosted by Giovanna Bragaglia, Miwa Negoro and Camille Regli.
